After graduating from the Pea Pod, I moved back to the small town in Minnesota where I grew up with absolutely no idea of what I wanted to do.  So, I signed up to be a substitute para professional despite having gone to school for computer science and political science.

I hadn't planned on sticking around for very long, anxious to get out in the big unexplored world, and spread my wings a little, but as many of these kinds of stories go, I met a boy.  Now, you'd have a rough time getting me to move away!  As for right now, we're just enjoying the dating phase of our relationship, but who knows what the future may bring?

In my free time, I absolutely love pretending to be a fashion designer, drawing different shirts and dresses in whatever notebook happens to be in my purse, and figuring out how I can knit, crochet, or otherwise create a new garment.  I also recently acquired a sewing/embroidery machine from that loving boy I mentioned earlier, which has opened up a completely new arena for my little fantasy!
